Rachel has always has a passion for all things active, both indoors and outdoors including: swimming competitively, tennis, weight training, dance, pickleball, hiking, yoga and Pilates. Rachel has always had a passion for Pilates, both on the Matt and the Reformer, and has been a Pilates practitioner for almost 25 years. After having her twins, she quickly returned back to Pilates to regain her core strength, flexibility and sanity. Pilates has also been at the core of Rachels’ recoveries from multiple knee surgeries and has been an integral part of her physical therapy. In 2022 she was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), in her knee, which reignited her interest in becoming a Certified Pilates Instructor. She recently became certified through Pilates Instructor Academy for the Matt, and is currently enrolled in certification for Reformer and all apparatuses. Rachel is eager to complete this and continue with certifications for Pilates for Athletes and those in post surgical conditions. She is so excited to be a part of the Well Studio and can’t wait to share her passion with all of you.
