DESCRIPTION:We’re thrilled to announce The Well Studio Yin Yoga Teacher Training. This training is for anyone looking to deepen their knowledge and experience in this slower yoga practice. This practice is an invitation to find stillness in the body and the mind. \nYin Yoga targets the body’s deeper connective tissues\, enhances flexibility and releases stress. We’ll practice the art of holding space\, making this training ideal for yoga teachers and dedicated students seeking a slower\, meditative approach to yoga. \nIn this training we’ll explore:\n– Yin Yoga’s roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine\n– The meridians and the elements\n– The anatomical\, energetic and philosophical foundations of this practice.\n– How to guide students into long held\, passive poses\n– How to create a Yin Yoga class sequence \nLed by Teresa Gonzalez \nTeresa Gonzalez is a yogini\, lover of nature\, with creativity at the center of her heart. She is also a lover of movement; cycling\, hiking\, swimming\, dancing and especially yoga. She brings over 20 years of experience in Vinyasa\, Restorative\, Yin\, and Gentle Yoga. \nShe wants to share with her students the adventure and peace\, the flavors and smells\, the warmth of the sun and the cool water the ranch has to offer. Awakening all the senses to take it all in. Opening the heart with yoga\, and inviting restful sleep with meditation.
